Refund Policy
Effective: 18 April 2026
Free reports are provided at no charge and include limited data from publicly available sources. No payment is taken and no refund applies.
Paid reports include additional data from licensed providers and are generated and delivered to you immediately upon successful payment. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
As the report is a digital product that is delivered immediately after you submit your request and make payment, you are required to confirm at checkout that:
While you have no automatic right to a refund for a delivered report, we may at our sole discretion consider refund requests where:
Disagreement with our scores, assessments, opinions, or analysis does not constitute grounds for a refund. A report showing "clear" results that later prove incorrect due to data not being available in third-party databases at the time of the report does not constitute grounds for a refund.
Refund requests must be submitted to hello@getcarwise.co.uk within 14 days of purchase. Please include your email address, the vehicle registration, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 working days.
If our system fails to generate your report after payment has been taken, you will be refunded automatically to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. No action is required on your part.
All approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
